Hell To Pay!

M.S. Hollis (TX)

The current global food price run up lends the perfect platform to finally expose these environmentalists
as a huge contributing force in this costly inflation.

The media is rampant with the outcry, "How dare the big energy producers take our corn to make fuel."
Yet, no one questions the multitude of production acres lost to housing and commercial developers. No
one considers the real cost of removing thousands of acres from cattle and crop production in order to maintain
wetlands, darter snails and any other "critter of the day" cause.

Viable agrarian acreage has been systematically stripped of its production to satisfy the
self interests of the "do good" crowd for such non eatable critters as wolves, prairie rats, ferrets,
snails and minnows. Commercial developers have influenced city, county, state and
federal governmental bodies into Executive Takings which has the effect of stealing water
and land from the nations food production.

With food prices reaching nose bleed levels, now is the time to bring the truth to the American people.
After all, in today's world, we all think and reason, through our pocket books. When we cannot afford to buy
gas and eggs and still eat out at our favorite restaurant there just might be, "Hell to Pay".
