Subject: National Animal ID
It is surprising how many livestock owners remain unaware of the impending National Animal ID.

These enterprising individuals are, for the most part, are very small independent ranchers or farmers with a limited number of animals.  They're totally unaffiliated with any organization.  These same producers do not receive subsidies - nor do they report to the Dept of Ag, CCC or any other entity.  They do not access the mainstream Agricultural magazines and information
Their animals may include, cattle, horses, poultry, pigs, sheep, goats, mules, donkeys or rabbits, etc.
Think of them as a typical household before World War II but also, as the ones who still exist in the Millennium.
A self sufficient lot raising a few chickens for fresh eggs and a few head of cattle so there will be a calf to butcher once a year.
These are the same folks who will fatten a pig and then package its meat for their freezer.
Besides visualizing the hilarious task of implanting a GPS tracking device in every flopping, hopping, squawking flock of chickens, just who wants to pay to monitor some database that is watching a rooster MOLT?
