Colorado lost one of its most notable pioneers; Mr. W. D. Farr. Mr. Farr was a mentor and hero to many people, for a multitude of reasons. Known as "The Water Buffalo," his leadership and expertise in water...irrigation and development continues to be embraced and widely utilized as it has been for over 60 years. 

In addition to being so knowledgeable about water, W. D. was a darn good cowboy.  He knew cows! 

Even in his elderly years, W. D.  exercised a youthful and visionary interest in Colorado's future.

The wisdom and solid advise he so kindly gave to us, will be missed.
Heavens fields will be greener with his presence.
