Roni, thanks for sending the info on Good Neighbor News - - I'll tune in. I notice you have a couple upcoming programs on Al Gore's global warming hysteria. Couldn't agree more and I would like to see this topic expanded to how this thinking is going to effect electric power production in the near future. I've served on the Poudre Valley REA board for 18 yrs. and the last two years we've been bombarded with the "Boulder mentality" of no more coal generation because of CO2 emissions. They are convinced renewable energy (wind and solar) will solve the problem as electric demand increases dramatically. Poudre Valley's loads have doubled in the last few years with no end in sight. Renewables have a place but bottom line when the sun sets and the wind doesn't blow you have zero generation. I think the general public is being misled on these issues and when the politicians enact their "carbon taxes" the price of power will explode. Anyway, I could enlist a couple people that would articulate this subject well so thought this might be of interest to you. Thanks. Jim Park
