Smart Growth and Other Insanities

Neal Pierce is a syndicated columnist and he writes a column today in the Seattle Times entitled "Get Cool With Smart Growth".  (http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/opinion/2003932035_nealpeirce08.html)  And once again another propagandist in the news media perpetuates the un-substantiated rumor of man-caused global warming, by advancing the freedom-robbing policy of Smart Growth.  There are literally thousands of articles, science papers, peer reviews and videos that indicate man-caused global warming is a falsehood, and yet every day we get articles similar to the one Mr. Pierce offers.  Incessantly, we get government, the environmentalists and the news media colluding together in order to shape or dictate planning policies based on nothing more than hype, propaganda and distortions of the truth, to convince gullible people that they should be crammed together in densely-packed urban cities so that they won't drive as many miles in their cars and save the planet from the myth of CO2 poisoning.  Poppy cock!

Man-caused global warming, smart growth and sustainable development are the outcome of United Nations conferences in Sweden, Brazil and South Africa that created the flawed and socialist policy called Agenda 21 .   Its sole purpose was to raise the third world up, at the expense of the United States and its citizens.  President Clinton signed an executive order that codified Agenda 21 into American law without a treaty being ratified by the U. S. Congress, as required by our Constitution.

This CABAL of the United Nations, Europe, environmental groups, our government and the news media that aides and abets the CABAL, will not stop until they stuff you all into large cities where they can more easily control you.  Getting you out of your cars is just another way to control your behavior and they are doing it by lying to you.  But that's OK, because a State Supreme Court just recently ruled that it was perfectly legal for politicians to lie to the people.

This country was built on individual freedom through a unique and beautifully framed Declaration of Independence and a Constitution and the wide range of choices that freedom allows.  As the eastern half of the U. S. became more crowded in the mid to late 1800's, people went out West to find more open space and more freedom.  The west was truly the "freedom" frontier.  There is no "West" to go to now, but there is plenty of land to inhabit, if government and the planners will open it up.

We first traveled by horse, coach, covered wagon and sometimes train.  But individuals traveled mostly by foot or by horse.  The horse represented our individual "freedom" of movement.  Then the car was invented and it replaced the horse and it broadened our "freedom" of movement, exponentially.  There was hardly a place we couldn't go, excepting over water of course, but we could build bridges and ferries for that.  The government responded, appropriately, by building roads, freeways and bridges to expand on this freedom even more.

The car was the greatest of all inventions, as it gave people a much wider scope of freedom.  But now the CABAL wants to take it all away from you and diminish your freedom even further on what is nothing more than UN-driven socialist propaganda and on a "thing" called consensus science, which isn't science at all.

The next time you think about living in a big city where the CABAL wants to force us all to live, think about what happens in a big city when disaster strikes.  Katrina/New Orleans comes to mind.  Or just imagine a major earth quake hitting a big city.  Buildings collapse, water lines break, power goes off, first responders can't respond because all the roads are choked with fallen debris and there is no water pressure to fight fires.  You die.

Big cities are targets for our enemies because they can kill and maim huge numbers of people.  Hiroshima and Nagasaki are two fairly recent examples.  So just imagine a man-caused disaster, like a nuclear explosion.  You die if you are in or near a big city.  You'd better hope you are at ground zero so that you are vaporized in a micro-second and won't suffer the slow, agonizing death of radiation poisoning.

Then just imagine a major disease or plague sweeping a big city.  Hundreds of thousands die and there isn't one damn thing your government can do about it.  You will be on your own.  In any event, it has already happened.  Over one third of the Earth's population succumbed to the black plague during the dark ages.

Big cities are infested with crime, noise, air and water pollution.  Cities are breeding grounds for the worst that society can produce.  As cities grow the problems get worse and no matter what you think, the government can't protect you.  Oh, and let's not forget that big cities are the worst polluters of all.  They actually add to global warming and then go on to dump their concentrated dirty laundry onto the environment that environmentalists have gone virtually crazy over, to protect.   Instead of taking their anger out on cities, they take it out on rural landowners instead.

So the net result of the CABAL driving you into big cities on trumped-up environmental falsehoods like man-caused global warming, is to leave you vulnerable to over-regulation by government and exposed to death due to natural or man-caused disasters that affect big cities the most.  If you give into the CABAL, you sacrifice your freedom, your liberty and perhaps even your own lives.

Extreme myopia seems to be an affliction of most in society today.  Or is it the disease of the worst of all diseases (TSS), The Sheep Syndrom?

But just in case that you are not among the extreme myopic, or afflicted with TSS, take the time to contact your federal and state representatives and tell them you oppose and reject the following:

Amnesty for Illegals (The Dream Act) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DREAM_Act
Just another end-run by Congress to make illegal aliens, legal.  Amnesty by any other name.

Smart Growth, Sustainable Development and Agenda 21 policies at every level of government.

Wild Sky: (Senate Bill 520) http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/bdquery/z?d110:s.00520:

Apparently Sen. Coburn (R) OK, is opposing the Wild Sky bill, most probably based on the fact that it is going to cost money.       We have a small window of opportunity to again defeat this bill.  Your immediate action will be most valuable, the Bill is now in play, S 520.       Please do two things........First, call his office, 202 224 5754, this is very effective in that he is briefed daily on the messages received.  Secondly, go to his website, click on this link to send the e-mail to:  http://coburn.senate.gov/public/index.cfm?FuseAction=ContactSenatorCoburn.Home

The Law of the Sea Treaty: (LOST)
(Read this from Heritage Foundation http://www.heritage.org/Research/InternationalOrganizations/wm470.cfm

THE UNITED STATES CONGRESS IS SOON LIKELY TO APPROVE, WITHOUT ADEQUATE PUBLIC DEBATE, RATIFICATION OF THE UNITED NATIONS LAW OF THE SEA CONVENTION (UNCLOS), THE LARGEST AND MOST COMPREHENSIVE INTERNATIONAL REGULATORY TREATY EVER CONCEIVED BY MANKIND.

THE UNCLOS WILL PROVIDE THE UNITED NATIONS AND FUTURE U.S. GOVERNMENTS WITH LEGAL JUSTIFICATION TO INVEST THEMSELVES WITH EXPANSIVE NEW POWERS TO IMPOSE COSTLY AND BURDENSOME NON-SCIENCE AND NON-ECONOMICS-BASED EUROPEAN ENVIRONMENTAL REGULATIONS (HIDDEN TAXES) UPON ALL AMERICANS THAT WILL SEVERELY IMPAIR THE USE & VALUE OF THEIR PRIVATE PROPERTY.

WHAT HAVE YOUR ELECTED REPRESENTATIVES BEEN DOING TO ENSURE THAT YOUR CONSTITUTIONALLY-GUARANTEED PRIVATE PROPERTY RIGHTS, AMERICA'S NATIONAL SOVEREIGNTY AND AMERICA'S MILITARY CAPABILITY TO DEFEND ITSELF WILL BE PROTECTED, AND NOT DELEGATED TO AN INTERNATIONAL UN-ELECTED INSTITUTION IN WHICH THE U.S. HAS ONLY ONE VOTE?

Your government will literally give away America's very sovereignty to Europe and the United Nations, if they pass this treaty!  We can't let that happen.

If you care one whit about your country, call your senators and congressmen and women today and register your opposition to the above policies, legislation and treaty.

"THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF RURAL LANDOWNERS"

The National Association of Rural Landowners (NARLO) is a non-profit corporation, duly licensed in the State of Washington.  It was formed in response to draconian land use ordinances that were passed by King County in Washington State (Seattle) in the late Fall of 2004, after vociferous opposition from rural landowners.  NARLO's mission is to begin the long process of restoring, preserving and protecting Constitutional property rights and returning this country to a Constitutional Republic.  Government has done a great job of dividing us up into little battle groups where we are essentially impotent at a national level.  We will change all that with the noisy voices and the vast wealth tied up in the land of the American rural landowner.  The land is our power, if we will just use that power, before we lose it.  We welcome donations and volunteers who believe as we do, that government abuses against rural landowners have gone on for far too long and a day of reckoning is at hand.  To learn more, visit our website at www.narlo.org.

President Roosevelt, in his 1933 inaugural address said, “…. The only thing we have to fear is fear itself”.  I maintain that the only thing we have to fear is unbridled government.  The only way unbridled government can exist is if WE THE PEOPLE allow it.
