Show Gratitude
November 24, 2007

"Thanksgiving Day will soon be here. There are pumpkins in the corn field on our farm and the leaves on the trees are turning the various fall colors.

This Thanksgiving Day we have much for which to be thankful.  We are thankful for our religious faith and for a constitutional government that recognizes the individual dignity based on that faith.  We are thankful for the blessings of liberty.  We are thankful for the comforts and the conveniences of a nation rich in natural resources and productive genius.

Let us show our gratitude by our acts of good will as well as by the prayers on our lips."

GIRLS AND BOYS TOWN
All of us at Girls and Boys Town greatly value our relationship with you, a vital supporter of our mission to treat and care for abused, abandoned and neglected girls and boys. We want to continue to provide you with helpful information about our work and tell you how your donations are being used to help children in need.

Many of our supporters want to receive information via email. They find it fast and efficient and perhaps most importantly, they realize that email also allows us to reduce our administrative and postal costs. This helps direct your contributions to where they are needed most... providing children with a safe, caring, loving environment where they gain confidence to get better and learn skills to become productive citizens.

We hope that you too will allow us to communicate with you through email. If you would prefer not to hear from us in this way, please follow the instructions at the bottom of this message.

Thank you and God Bless you.

Sincerely,

Father Steven E. Boes
