Want to host a sanctioned Good Neighbor
Forum in your community?

Here’s how:

• Identify and gather individuals who show sincere interest in educating and empowering others on their Private Property and Constitutional Rights.
• When you find at least eight people who will commit no less than five months volunteering on this program, form your main committee and sub-committees.
• Sub-committees should include: Sponsorship, Finance, Correspondence, Speakers, Registration, Facility set up, Sound and Lighting, Transportation, Signage/banners,
• Ads-Press releases and Announcements.
• Set the GNF date no less than three months out from first announcement. This gives time to- and in this order: a) Secure good facility. (Insurance may be required.) b) Secure speakers. c) Start announcements. d) Spread the word. e) Raise needed dollars.
• Find sponsors to help defray your costs. Keep accurate information so you can properly recognize and thank them.
• Speaker choices should be contacted and confirmed immediately upon setting date.
• Jim Beers, Atty Lawrence Kogan, Atty Harriet Hageman, Dr. Will Soon and Kimmi Lewis are considered the Good Neighbor High Five. Expect to pay their travel (airfare, hotel, ground transportation, meals) and an individually agreed on stipend. They’re invaluable resources to GN, and are to be treated accordingly.
• We have many other excellent, knowledgeable speakers we can recommend, including Dr. Corey Ciochhetti and Ric Frost. Public servant speakers are highly recommended.
Good Neighbor Committee approval of speakers, is a requirement for any entity to hold a sanctioned Good Neighbor Forum.
• To balance out your forum, find speakers near-by who are known to contribute solutions to your local problems in a civil, non-partisan, equitable, ethical and fact grounded manner. Please don’t ask people given to grandstanding, partisan politics, shrill threats, lying, try to get stuff for free, or who engage in secretive, clandestine activities.
• Having a company, university or non-profit group “Host” the forum promises a cheerful time and positive exposure for all. Sample: “ The Kitandkaboddle Bank of Timbucktoo proudly presents The KBT Good Neighbor Forum.”
• GNF requires that host uses their own bank account or open a new account. Most banks charge a low fee for short time open /closing for non-profits. Having your own account helps with disbursements and receipts, and honors “open books” policy.
• Sanctioned host must pay all bills quickly. GN doesn’t want anything to ever jeopardize its hard fought reputation as a solid, honest, fact based group that pays its bills.
• To help maintain GNL website, a per Forum request of $100.00 -or- $1.00 per attendee (Whichever is greater.) is appreciated. Because host may keep after expenses paid monies, a well structured and attended GNF could serve as a nice fund raiser.

Our general philosophy, is that we are cognizant of operating in such an above board manner, that our opponents never find a way to dismiss us. It’s called “credibility.”

Good Neighbor wants your GNF to be a noble success, so we’re happy to advise, but not offer staff, money or time for a hands on involvement. That’s what your committee is for.

When you’re ready to put your special signature on your GNF, contact us for the sanctioning agreement, and we’ll get you started. info@goodneighborlaw.com
