Senate Forest Lands and Public Committee
I insist my two Senators and their staff members call for a hold on this outrageous bill so it may receive more debate. Also it is imperative that local property owners be brought into this discussion. Any government employee who tries to make these over laying broad brush decisions on the people is surely not representing the people. These committee meetings are in place to go around We The People. Committee members are not authorized to make these broad decisions on this much land without public debate especially with the locals to these public areas.
It is time for government to stop its power plays over the people who really own these public lands. The government is NOT the owner of these public lands, they are only the care takers, albeit the worst stewards of our land because of political science vs. unbiased independent science. We the people own this land especially those surrounding and using these public areas. The eastern environmental movement does not own this land nor do they use it. It is the surrounding local property owners including those in the surrounding states of any public land that should have the primary first say. Government has no say, they are servants of the people. Environmental lobbies have the last say as they are only interested in locking up the land and locking out the people. Property owners are all too familiar with this green shell game. Government has forgotten their role to America.
Government backroom committees do not represent the people. They only meet to satisfy their own selfish political agenda. I find these committees and their slick tactics abominable. Senator Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania betrayed all property owners in America when he blocked the Property Rights Protection Act S.1313 favoring the national city association. It is time to expose & throw out the Senators who care more for government expansion than for We The People.
Lysander Spooner has a way with words to sum up this situation and government in general even back in 1867.

"to plunder the people of their property and restrain them of their liberty and that the only authority that these alleged principals have for so doing, is simply a tacit understanding among themselves that they will imprison, shoot, or hang every man who resists the exactions and restraints which their agents or representative may impose upon them." No Treason, Section X, Para. 3
4. "One essential of a free government is that it rest wholly on voluntary support. And one certain proof that a government is not free, is that it coerces more or less persons to support, against their will. All government, the worst on earth, and the most tyrannical on earth, are free governments to that portion of the people who voluntarily support them. And all governments though the best on earth in other respects, are nevertheless tyrannies to that portion of the people, whether few or many , who are compelled to support them against their will."
