Subject: Power - Lines? By Roni Bell Sylvester

To clarify, “Obama to step up to power line projects,” is really the implementation of the Western Governors Association “Green Energy Hubs;” more accurately known as “Wildlife Corridors.” Memorandums of Understanding between government and its multiple “environmental group” partners, best illustrate how they plan to activate and monitor policies on wildlife migration corridors, wind energy transmission lines, solar fields and more.

On the surface, this appears to be an innocuous way to provide energy and jobs. If competitive market- private enterprise utility companies were the only ones engaging in this activity, it could be a good thing. But because government is involved, mostly government jobs and its union membership rolls will grow.

Knowing Federal’s past actions, it will coerce states into waiving their sovereignty, and throw policy into conflict with law. Or, simply put, “Break the law!” Yes, this is correct. Whenever Federal Government does not follow the mandates of Congress or the Constitution, it “breaks the law.” Because breaking the law has become a pattern of Federal, it’s sure to continue - by gifting itself and its non-government partner’s police powers to regulate, and undue authority to claim Private Property (see “eminent domain – and condemnation”) within states.

As a Private Property owner, I demand Federal provide maps that include its partners and any power line, projected green energy hub, wildland, conservation easement, highway, and energy transmission corridor. These maps are important, as we Property Owners will need to send “*Demand to Remove Property” letters to the involved.

Upon identification, any Federal “partner” subsidized with taxpayer dollars should be forced to open their books for public scrutiny.

Our County Commissioners will serve their counties well, each time they block potential of any property taking a county resident alerts them to.

Roni,

Here is a link to the project that, as proposed, would cross Northwest Colorado. It looks like they are going to revise the corridor, based on public comment from landowners and other.

It is a transmision line, not a wildlife corridor. The lead on the project is a private company. I don’t know of any environmental groups involved. There are typically not government workers on these projects, except those involved in the review.

See the right side of the page for a link to the map.

Please feel free to forward this to anyone of interest.

Thanks!

James,
You're a sweetheart to provide this info! Thank you!
I'll post on LAW with my letter - if the trib doesn't publish.
How is Senator Bennet doing on the Horse slaughter ban? If you need any back up facts as to why that ban needs to be lifted, as you know we're here give the Senator all the tools he needs to lift it.
Again James, thank you for taking time to share this.
Roni
