Subject: Wilderness areas on our Federal Lands

In 1973 I was flying to a meeting near Jackson, Wyoming. On the plane I had a chance to visit with Wyoming Senator Cliff Hansen about Wilderness areas on our Federal Lands. Sometime about the same time I had corresponded with then Director of Bureau of Outdoor Recreation James Watt.

Upon learning of the restrictions that were placed on our public lands by that designation, it sounded to me like a lot more of a loser than a winner for us owners of those public lands.

I expressed my concerns to (then) Senator Hansen and the more we talked the worse it sounded to me.

Time has passed; and in my opinion the limiting designations have proven to be even less of an asset than I originally thought.
In some cases our Federal lands have become private playgrounds for the elite, while locking up our resources and devastating industries for no justifiable reasons.

As more time has passed, bit by bit these locked up resources are targeted by International governance like the UN, US Heritage Programs and NAFTA...etc. There are all kinds of organizations, groups and factions working towards this end...but My thinking is "Hey, Wait a minute! What is REALLY going on?"

It reeks of a New World Order takeover of the best of all Countries for the benefit of a few.

Many of these elitists have their greatest claim to fame being that they have robbed their own Countries to obtain personal positions of wealth and prominence.

Thomas Paine in Common Sense questioned- why should Americans pay homage-taxes- to the "royalty" of Europe when in fact they became "royalty" for no more reason other than they beat the opposition. In essence, they were tougher and meaner....royalty in its true sense had nothing to do with it.

As the attempts to take over even more of our public lands progress, a lot more of us should be saying "Hey, Wait a minute!"
And we had better do something about it!

As we approach our next election cycle...one of the most important questions we can ask candidates at all levels is..."how do YOU feel about US Sovereignty and possible loss of same and how do you propose to combat it?"
