DOE GRANTS TO PRIVATE FIRMS
It is my observation that the following DOE federal grant of approximately $168 million to a private entity is but one of many examples as to federal's pleasuring its favorite children, while maintaining genocide of the rest.

If the full year 2010 net income and earnings per share were $239.0 million or $1.12 per share in 2010, compared to $213.9 million or $1.00 per share in the same period in 2009, why does federal feel compelled to subsidize this private corp?
After all, Tampa Electric, allows over 2 million in cumulative annual earnings to John B. Rami (President & CEO).
Someone needs to ask:
Why another federal Non-Government partnering?
In this instance, to keep a cap and trade system alive?
What is their net savings going to be?
How much energy is being wasted to capture and push CO2 into the ground?
Why is my tax money being spent by DOE for this kind of project?
Regardless the excuses, don't you agree federal entitlements (earmark, subsidy, welfare, gift) to a private firm is an unacceptable federal action deserving of investigation?
