USCA, KBHB Radio and Elk Creek Steakhouse to Host Cowboy Social

   
USCA (July 2, 2008) - To celebrate the Day of the American Cowboy, the U.S. Cattlemen’s Association (USCA), KBHB 810 AM Radio and the Elk Creek Steakhouse will co-host a Cowboy Social and raffle beginning at 6:30 p.m. on July 26, 2008 at the Elk Creek Steakhouse (Exit 46) in Piedmont, South Dakota. The public is invited. Complimentary hors de oeuvres will be served, drink specials will be offered and The Wilt Brothers country band will provide entertainment for the evening.

A saddle, sponsored by Nutralix, will be raffled off that evening as a fund raiser for USCA. Thirty-pound beef bundles will also be raffled, as well as other door prizes. Raffle tickets for the saddle and beef bundles are available at $10 per ticket or six tickets for $50. Anyone interested in purchasing raffle tickets should contact Johnny Kerstiens at 605/892-5257 or by emailing him at johnnykerstiens@hotmail.com. All proceeds will benefit USCA.

"USCA is celebrating the National Day of the American Cowboy," said Kerstiens, who chairs the USCA Promotions and Marketing Committee. "This will be a fun-filled evening when we can all take a well-deserved break, enjoy some great food, dancing and fellowship with one another and some lucky individuals are going to take home some great prizes. I encourage everyone to come on out and help support the cattle organization that’s making a real difference in Washington, DC."
