May 4, 2016 Real World energy and climate “The sky is falling” scare stories have no place in public interest science or policy
John Coleman
Earth Day 2016 brought extensive consternation about how our Earth will soon become uninhabitable, as mankind’s activities of civilization trigger unstoppable global warming and climate change. President Obama used the occasion to sign the Paris climate treaty and further obligate the United States to slash its fossil fuel use, carbon dioxide emissions and economic growth. Climate Change and War Robert H. Scales, a retired Army major general: ‘Our men and women in uniform are smart and perceptive. They can spot phoniness in a heartbeat.’
From April 13 testimony by Robert H. Scales, a retired Army major general, before the U.S. Senate Committee on Environmental and Public Works regarding the Obama administration’s linking of climate change and national security:
The common spark for all wars is jealousy and greed amplified by centuries-long animosities and political ambitions. The catalyst for war is the ignorance of leaders that leads them to misjudge. Click here to continue.

February 20, 2015 The Guardian uses pseudo-science to libel John Christy
By Christopher Monckton of Brenchley
One Dana Nuccitelli, a co-author of the 2013 paper that found 0.5% consensus to the effect that recent global warming was mostly manmade and reported it as 97.1%, leading Queensland police to inform a Brisbane citizen who had complained to them that a “deception” had been perpetrated, has published an article in the British newspaper The Guardian making numerous inaccurate assertions calculated to libel Dr John Christy of the University of Alabama in connection with his now-famous chart showing the ever-growing discrepancy between models’ wild predictions and the slow, harmless, unexciting rise in global temperature since 1979. Ten killer questions that expose how wrong and ideologically driven they are
by Christopher Monckton of Brenchley, Willie Soon and David R. Legates
We are killing millions of parents and children today, based on a scientifically baseless goal of saving thousands who are not at risk “the day after tomorrow."
A century or so from now, based on current trends, today’s concentration of carbon dioxide in the air will have doubled. How much warming will that cause? The official prediction, 1.5-4.5 degrees Celsius (2.7-8.1 degrees Fahrenheit) per doubling of CO2, is proving a substantial exaggeration.
Professor William Happer of Princeton, one of the world’s foremost physicists, says computer models of climate rely on the assumption that CO2’s direct warming effect is about a factor of two higher than what is actually happening in the real world. This is due to incorrect representations of the microphysical interactions of CO2 molecules with other infrared photons.
August 24, 2015 Climate Crisis, Inc. $1.5 trillion and Larry Bell book explain how profiteers of climate doom keep the money flowing
Paul Driessen
"The Climate Crisis & Renewable Energy Industry has become a $1.5-trillion-a-year business! That’s equal to the annual economic activity generated by the entire US nonprofit sector, or all savings over the past ten years from consumers switching to generic drugs."
No warming in 18 years, no category 3-5 hurricane hitting the USA in ten years, seas rising at barely six inches a century: computer models and hysteria are consistently contradicted by Real World experiences.
So how do White House, EPA, UN, EU, Big Green, Big Wind, liberal media, and even Google, GE and Defense Department officials justify their fixation on climate change as the greatest crisis facing humanity?
August 7, 2015 An errant environmental encyclical Pope Francis’ prescriptions will perpetuate poverty, disease, premature death in Third World
Paul Driessen
It is an unconscionable crime against humanity to implement policies that pretend to protect the world’s energy-deprived masses from hypothetical manmade climate and other dangers decades from now – by perpetuating poverty, malnutrition and disease that kill millions of them tomorrow.
The Laudato Si encyclical on climate, sustainability and the environment prepared by and for Pope Francis is often eloquent, always passionate but often encumbered by platitudes, many of them erroneous.
“Man has slapped nature in the face,” and “nature never forgives,” the pontiff declares. “Never have we so hurt and mistreated our common home as in the last 200 years.” It isn’t possible to sustain the present level of consumption in developed countries and wealthier sectors of society. “Each year thousands of species are being lost,” and “if we destroy creation, it will destroy us.”
I, for one, would be willing to pay 5% LESS to battle climate change. After all, aren't "renewables" supposed to be more cost-effective in the long run, what with "free" energy from the wind, sun, tides, and the bowels of the Earth?
And surely, a federally (or presidentially) mandated energy efficiency in excess of 100 percent will reduce everyone's energy bill.
So I'll gladly pay 5% less to battle the non-existent phantom of climate change.
Better yet, I'll take them up on the offer of FREE renewable energy.
Cheers,
Richard A. Keen, PhD - Proudly fighting the cooling climate of Colorado with big sunny windows, fossil fuels, and 4-wheel drive

MILLOY AND SOON: Banning junk science from Capitol Hill
Washington Times - Congress needs to hear the whole truth from researchers By Steve Milloy and Willie Soon - Monday, April 30, 2012 - Federal courts have a system to keep junk science out of courtrooms. It's time Congress adopts one, too. The Senate Environment and Public Works Committee held a hearing April 17 on the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) recent Mercury Air Toxics Standard (MATS), which is intended to reduce mercury emissions from coal-fired electric power plants at a cost of about $10 billion per year. Supplementary: Nature Climate Change U.S. Power Plant Carbon Standards and Clean Air and Health Co-benefits
Emissions Modeling - For each scenario, we used emissions output from ICF International’s Integrated Planning Model (IPM) conducted by ICF International. IPM is a dynamic power sector production cost linear optimization model for North America. It incorporates many drivers of generation and power sector demands, including wholesale power, system reliability needs, environmental limitations, fuel selection, power transmission, capacity, and operational elements of generators on the power grid, to estimate generation and resulting emissions. By running IPM the least-cost means of meeting electric generation energy and capacity requirements are determined, while complying with the requirements specified in each of the policy scenarios.Click here to continue.
Perspective: Nature Climate Change US power plant carbon standards and clean air and health co-benefits
Charles T. Driscoll1*, Jonathan J. Buonocore2, Jonathan I. Levy3, Kathleen F. Lambert4,
Dallas Burtraw5, Stephen B. Reid6, Habibollah Fakhraei1 and Joel Schwartz7 Carbon dioxide emissions standards for US power plants will influence the fuels and technologies used to generate electricity, alter emissions of pollutants such as sulphur dioxide and nitrogen oxide, and influence ambient air quality and public health. We present an analysis of how three alternative scenarios for US power plant carbon standards could change fine particulate matter and ozone concentrations in ambient air, and the resulting public health co-benefits. The results underscore that carbon standards to curb global climate change can also provide immediate local and regional health co-benefits, but the magnitude depends on the design of the standards. A stringent but flexible policy that counts demand-side energy efficiency towards compliance yields the greatest health benefits of the three scenarios analysed.Click here to continue.
Let me introduce myself. My name is Dr. Gordon J. Fulks. I'm a PhD astrophysicist from the University of Chicago with much the same background as the Great Global Warming Guru James Hansen. Hansen and I have talked and agree on many things, not to include carbon dioxide.
Thank you for the opportunity to once again comment on your Climate Action Plan that is designed to combat Global Warming and to stabilize our local climate, so that presumably we never get too warm or too cold, never experience another destructive Columbus Day storm, and get uniformly good mountain snow every winter to keep the ski resorts happy and water available throughout the year. In short, your goal seems to be to create a sort of Shangri-La where people live happily ever after in a perfect climate, and in perfect harmony, since all social injustices have been corrected at the same time.Click here to continue.
April 8, 2015 The trouble with Google defining “truth” It thinks we’re only entitled to seeing Google’s “facts,” especially on climate change

GUEST POST WRITTEN BY Lawrence Kogan Mr. Kogan, managing principal of Kogan Law Group, is chief executive of the Institute for Trade, Standards and Sustainable Development.
Secretary of State George P. Schultz claimed as well as intimated that if former President Reagan were here today he would take out an “insurance policy” against climate change notwithstanding a lack of available scientific evidence justifying such a conclusion. Such action would consist of several elements, including the provision of federally funded energy research and development incentives, the imposition of a carbon tax, and the consummation of an international climate agreement. Members of the Scientific Council of the Global Warming Policy Foundation (GWPF) recently criticized the Royal Society’s positions on climate.
Their clear, authoritative scientific objections to the Royal Society’s positions reveal the weak scientific foundation on which the great climate fervor has been based. The public must either become conversant enough to grasp this or step back and get out of the way of those who have. Scientists don’t need to be paid to oppose the ideas of climate orthodoxy, because those ideas are just so damn bad. Click here to continue.

Dr. Willie Soon is a gentleman of the utmost scientific integrity.
Because Willie's scientific findings debunk Al Gore and POTUS, he and his family are subjected to inhumane treatment. Think about this folks. This is gravely serious. Even Governor Hickenlooper refuses to disclose his 97% scientists he claims makeup the AGW (Anthropogenic Global Warming). We've yet to find 1 - not 1 AGW believer who'll publicly debate Dr. Soon! Shh, don’t mention the water
To state the bleeding obvious, Earth is a Water Planet. Water dominates everything and it’s infernally complicated. Water holds 90% of all the energy on the surface,[1] and both NASA[2] and the IPCC[3] admit water is the most important greenhouse gas there is, they just don’t seem inclined to produce posters telling us this is a humidity crisis, or that water is pollution.

The American public is increasingly skeptical about specious claims regarding global warming, according to the latest polling this spring by Gallup, Inc. But don’t think for a second that this skepticism is shared in academia – or in politics. While Gallup reports that “the ranks of skeptics expanded between 2008 and 2010 due to the decline in concern about global warming as documented in Gallup's original trends. In particular, the percentage of Americans believing that global warming is caused by pollution from human activities dropped sharply in 2010,” academics and politicians see this grassroots challenge to their cherished beliefs as nothing short of heresy. September 9, 2014 What I did on my summer vacation – another climatologist’s perspective
We should celebrate fossil fuels, not condemn them
David R. Legates I recently read an article in which “hockey stick” creator and climatologist Michael Mann discussed his summer vacation. Reporting on his travels to Montana, Dr. Mann lamented the fact that glaciers in Glacier National Park are receding. He blamed this on human-caused climate change. He said he tried to get away from work but just couldn’t, because the “spectre of climate change stares you in the face as you tour the park.”Click here to continue.

June 1, 2014 The myth of the 97% climate change consensus
What is the origin of the false belief – constantly repeated by President Obama, the media and others – that almost all scientists agree about global warming? - Joseph Bast and Roy Spencer
New Paper at SPPI: Historical Global Temperature Trends - Source: SPPI
It has been claimed that the last decade of the 20th century was the warmest of the past hundred years and possibly the warmest of the entire past millennium (Mann et al., 1998, 1999). It has also been claimed that this observation is a cause for much concern, because the temperatures in question are supposedly so unprecedented. In fact, those who would have us believe that these supposedly high air temperatures are the result of anthropogenic CO2 emissions resulting from the burning of fossil fuels contend that the near-surface air temperature of the planet is currently so high that we must radically reformulate the energetic basis of the entire industrialized world in order to avoid a host of unwanted climatic consequences. But is this climatic characterization correct? … and is its adherents’ call to action truly prudent?
