It is sheer cowardice that Bob Schieffer's CBS "Face the Nation" avoids scientists whose scientific climate findings are contraire to such as Thomas Friedman, Al Gore and Dr. Heidi Cullen. Who's paying off who here? Roni For Colorado challenges whomever trots out an AGW believer positions a scientist (who's not on government grant/payroll) squarely across the table for a long over due equal time robust debate! Not one policy should be made until the "science is settled." And the one thing ALL agree on is - "the science is not settled!" Therefore ...

I've been told not to talk about water because it just isn't sexy... well, you can give up on same-sex 'marriage', marijuana, abortion and everything else because without water we'll be dead! Plain and simple.

Roni absolutely loves innovation! What research scientists are doing with micro-organisms as a soil amendment is fascinating!
After you read this fine article by Whitney Philips, go hug a researcher - and a farmer!

Common Core is the enemy of "individual rights!" It must be slain today! I agree with Lawrence A Kogan, Lawyer and author of The Precautionary Principle who said:
"Police powers are a way to exercise the community rights in favor of the community and at the expense of the individual if they are not consistent with one another."
Follow my for topics such as:
- First order of business: eliminate fed overreach on state level. Citizens, let's leave EPA in the dust of self governance
- Anthropogenic flooding and dry ups are real: see the South Platee River basin

- Illegal Immidgrants: suffering and tribulations of the excess; should we be dealing with illegal immigration locally; Owen Hill - pushing for illegals to be deported immediately after a crime
- Obamacare: Shannon and her family liked their insurance, but ...; Obamacare is now four years old. But unlike most 4-year-olds, it still can't walk on its own
- Corrupt: 'Independent' EPA science advisor paid $51.7 million in grants from EPA - Junk Science
- Abortion: avid supporter and activist of renewing the value and love for life
- Freedom: We are simply not a free people if we aren't allowed to build a pond in our back yard. Colorado is on the wrong tract towards utter compliance
- Energy: Russia is an example of why America should have no energy dependence on other nations
Colorado owns $12.5 billion...Colorado owes $17.8 billion, leaving a difference of $5.3 billion in debt. "Each taxpayer's share of this financial burden is $3,100." (Truth in Accounting -data based on CO's June 30, 2012 audited CAFR, and retirement plans' actuarial reports)
"Colorado does not report $9.8 billion of retirement liabilities on its balance sheet." (CAFR)
If state employees have been promised $8.9 billion of pension benefits, and $999.7 million in retiree health care benefits, with Colorado's $5.3 billion debt, how does Colorado intend to fund these benefits without cratering Colorado? Specially with federal overreach that serves as chief obstructionist of job building...
As governor, I will first cauterize, then demand the spending breakout of the $5.3 billion debt. I will fully investigate the shortfall commitment, and end job killing federal overreaches.

UNIONS 3-18-14
Roni For Colorado is looking forward to meeting with the AFL-CIO Tuesday night in Denver.
As stated on my platform regarding unions: "I'm on record as to my work on Right to Work status for Colorado. l Being a clearly defined Right to Work state is the cheapest incentive there is to attract jobs. Having said that, I understand those who find comfort in belonging to a union, and they should not be denied their use of a union. I hold a respect for unions that work civilly and do no harm to entities that are non-union."

NYC: Mayor De Blasio's actions against the Hansom Carriage owners is a direct assault against Private Property rights. Not only do the carriage teamsters own their carriages, harness and horses, they own the stables where they board their horses; additionally, the service they provide has significant historic custom and culture value! They should send a Demand to Remove letter to each person (including Mayor De Blasio) who has a "vision" as to how to use their Private Property!

Needing to address "water in Colorado" like so many decent hard working folks, I tried for over a year to get an appointment with Governor Hickenlooper; went through the web, called, emailed and even sat in his office twice. Now going into a second year without securing an appointment, I decided the only way we'll get to see the governor is if I become the governor!

Thank you Congressman Scott Tipton, for H.R. 3189 - Water Rights Protection Act (WRPA). Protecting the Property Rights of Coloradoans is my main focus in my bid for Governor of Colorado.
Water is the lifeblood of each person on our earth. Period! I know of no one who does not use water. We drink it, grow food and develop energy, ski, boat and swim in it.
Under the Colorado Water Doctrine (First in time, first in right), Colorado's Governor has a duty to protect beneficial water right users, and ascertain they're never denied use of their water.
A governor also has the responsibility to implement checks (dams, storage, river dredging/maintenance, well pumping etc.) that will diminish the impact of a flood.
Governor's have an authority unique to other elected positions, in that they can in fact identity each area where federal overreaches into a state, and flat kick federal out!
As governor, I will work closely with our Congressmen, Senators, state assembly, sheriffs and county commissioners, to insure Coloradoans peace and security to play and produce with our water, untethered from federal overreach!
Thank you again, Congressman Scott Tipton, for bringing "water" to the fore where it belongs.

HEY LOOK US OVER
Hey look us over, lend us an ear,
fresh out of clover, mortgaged up to here,
Don't pass the plate folks,
Don't pass the cup,
We figure when ever we're down and out,
The only way is up!
Up like a rose bud,
High on the vine,
Don't thumb your nose bud,
Take a tip from mine,
We're a little bit short of the elbow room
But let us get us some
And look out world here we come!
Lyrics by Jerry Vale.
Papillion, NE 1961 - Rev. Don Marsh readapted the lyrics, and I opened a show by "Ethel Merman'ing" it!
Lately I haven't been able to get this song out of my mind. Why? Because looking around the state, I see most Roni For Colorado supporters are working families who have neither the time or money to put into any campaign. So who represents them?
