Roni Bell Sylvester is a long-time conservative activist in Colorado whose grassroots work stretches back to the 1960s. She's taken on the EPA, the Interior Department, and other federal agencies for meddling in the private property rights of Coloradans.

During the 2000's, she founded a for-profit think tank and web site called LandandWaterUSA.com. The site is a forum for free market, private property, and scientific advocates to publish their insights on the latest government overreach, outrage; whether it is exaggerated concerns over "global warming," or the taking of private property by the federal government.

As a candidate for Governor in the Republican Primary in 2014, Roni will bring her extensive experience of working with some of the nation’s leading minds on issues that are most important to Coloradans.

In addition to being a successful social entrepreneur, Roni is a mom, a wife, and a homemaker. She grew up as a farm girl, considers herself a "hybrid Protestant," and is a life-long Republican. Roni’s a hard worker who has a history of supporting the quality of the candidate or issue - regardless the party.

She believes in: Individual rights and freedoms, free enterprise, let the consumer determine the market, entrepreneurism, capitalism, fair trade, national defense, freedom of speech and the right to bear arms...

Her platform is Private Property: “We will revive our state's consciousness on how the U.S. Constitution guarantees each citizen their right to acquire and enjoy property. To own property is the very foundation of our life, liberty and pursuit of happiness!”

My equal rights began growing up on a farm. Yes, my brothers and dad gave me the equal right to shovel manure alongside them. My parents gave me income equality in that along with my brothers, I wasn't paid. We did the work that needed to be done...because we were a family. So admittedly, deep discussions about income and gender inequality baffle.

"Risk must be shared equally if the goal is pure equality." RMS
